Misleading Suffixes in Persian Language (The Unsaid Points about Morphology)

Document Type : Original Article

Abstract
This article deals with morphology in Persian language. Here, our data or words don’t have regular word-formation. On the other hand, we cannot easily analyze these words by studying the general linguistics; since, they are historical forms in Persian language. Therefore, we could analyze them only by a historical linguistics method. For example, the derivative forms of these words are followed by suffixes such as: -ār, -mān, -sār, -yār. Due to the irregular analysis, we call these words ‘misleading suffixes’.
