چکیده

نظریۀ پاول اشتکاور[1] نظریه‏‌ای با رویکرد جدید به فرایند واژه‏سازی در زبان است که، در عین اتخاذ رهیافت نقشی - ساختی[2] مکتب پراگ، از منظر شناختی[3] به فرایند واژه‏‌سازی نگاه می‏‌کند. این نظریه به واژه‏ از منظر نام‏شناختی، یعنی حرکت از مفهوم به‏ سوی واژه، می‏پردازد. براساس این نظریه، نقطۀ آغاز ساخت واژه تحلیل یک مفهوم مرتبط با یک واقعیت برون‏‌زبانی است که عضوی یا اعضایی از جامعۀ زبانی برای نام‏گذاری آن احساس نیاز می‏‌کنند. از دیدگاه این نظریه، ساخت واژه مطلقاً صرفی است و نحو در ساخت واژه دخالتی ندارد. در زبان فارسی مشخص می‏‌شود که بعضی واژه‌‏ها به‏‌شیوۀ نحوی ساخته می‏‌شوند.

Word Formation in Persian from the Perspective of an Onomasiological Theory

چکیده English

Pavol Štekauer's word formation model adopts a new combined approach that involves both the functional-structural framework of the Prague school of linguistics and a cognitive approach to word formation. Called the ‘naming theory’, it moves from the concept to the word form. According to this theory, the initial point of departure in forming a word (or, a naming unit) in a language involves the analysis of a concept related to an extralinguistic entity for which a member or members of the linguistic community feel the need to coin a name. This view of word formation assigns only a morphological status to the word form/naming unit but no role whatsoever to syntax. However, it is shown in this manuscript that certain words in Persian are formed syntactically.
