One of the authoritative manuscripts of Masnavi that many scholars have used in emendating the content of this work is the eighth copy of the sixth book, written by Sultan Walad. This manuscript of the fourth book has also been identified as having no translation and has been talked about by several scholars and used in its emendation or, due to its importance, published in form of a photographic print. In this article, we examine the relationship between these two versions of Masnavi and determine whether these two books of Masnavi are actually a continuation of each other or not; We will also look at the time of writing the fourth book. We also mention some features of Masnavi’s manuscripts that will help future researchers to determine the relationship between the manuscripts of this work with each other.
