According to the evidences of Iranian texts, the Farrah-i Kiani manifests itself in various forms such as eagle or hawk, ram or antelope, argali and zebra and accompanies the legal king of Iran. But it is strange that in the 9th book of Dēnkard, in the mentioning data of the aberration of Kay Kāvus due to the deception of the demon of anger and the gallop of the king to the edge of darkness, on the contrary to the above mentioned points, the Farrah-i Kiani appears as “mud” (with the spelling TYNA). This form is not only inconsistent with other manifestations of Farrah. But also is incompatible with the Iranian mentality on the nature of Farrah. On this occasion and also based on some other evidences, this written form seems to be a mistake in written form of TYBA, which refers to the āhūg “gazelle” as an ideogram in Pahlavi texts. By applying such an emendation, on one hand, Dēnkard’s data on the material incarnation of Farrah-i Kiani will be aligned with the report of other texts and on the other hand, the contexts of this report will not have any contradiction with the Iranian mentality on the Farrah-i Kiani’s nature.
