Hamid Sabzevari, known as “the Father of Poetry of the Islamic Revolution”, is the composer of various patriotic, epic and mystical hymns, songs and poems, has tried his skill in various poetic forms and has left behind valuable works. He is one of the famous contemporary poets who is familiar with the social, revolutionary and political issues of the country. This characteristic and his anti-arrogant, right-seeking and courtesy spirit have made his resistance and religious poetry outstanding. The grace of his words and eloquence are prominent features of his poetry. The quatrain form has usually attracted the attention of the poets. Sabzevari has also composed 152 quatrains in his poetry collection, which can be discussed from different perspectives. The purpose of this study is to explore the music of the poet's quatrains and to show the extent to which music has influenced the rhythm of his poetry, using analytical-frequency research method. The current study examines how Sabzevari uses the potential of rhymes and novel tricks to convey the meaning of his poem to the reader. Investigation of the poet's quatrains shows that the poet uses simple, one-part verbs at the end of lines, nominal rhymes, and literary devices such as repetition, alliteration, pun, consonance, contrast, allusion (Quranic and narrative intertextuality) to enhance the melody and beauty of his poem.
